The KAB 554B is a comfortable, versatile seat designed for use predominately in trucks but can also be used in other large machinery such as forklifts and cranes with smooth terrain use.  For rough terrain machinery like telehandlers, excavators and loaders the 564 or 65-K4 models are preferable.

This seat has a strong history with truck manufacturers and comes factory fitted as standard on many Kenworth models and earlier Mack models.  It can also be used as a straight up replacement on almost any truck with 280mm slide mounts or others with the aid of a mounting bracket.  Features include integrated seat belt, auto weight adjustment, independent height adjustment, adjustable lumbar, back recline, seat angle, headrest and damper.  There is also a choice of forward, left hand or right hand controls to various applications.

Optional extras include built in 12V or 24V compressor, fold up adjustable armrests, fore/aft isolator, lap belt or 4 point belt, dual recline, operator presence switch and electric buckle sensor.
